Re: is there a AI1 diaper comparable to a pocket diaper?

Thirsties Duo Diapers are an AIO with a tunnel underneath the absorbent part that you could add things to if needed.

I love Simplex OS because you can add more absorbency in the pocket and it comes unstuffed in the wash. Also you have the option of using the stay-dry side or the cotton side depending on what your baby does better with.

I like Swaddlebees Simplex OS and Tots Bots. I like the pocket to add more absorbency

Re: is there a AI1 diaper comparable to a pocket diaper?

I love my bumgenius elemental and it is well worth the price! I am especially impressed after hearing that AIOs can sometimes be harder to clean than other types of diapers. Not true with an elemental, it is no harder to clean than my prefolds! Also it is wayyy more absorbent than my grovia AIOs. Even with grovia's extra snap-in layer which is for "older babies and heavy wetters". My son is 10lbs and doesn't even soak a nb prefold in 4 hours, yet he can usually only go 3 hours in a grovia with the extra layer. Plus grovia stains horribly! I know you can sun it out, but just from washing if I have my elemental that is the same amount "dirty" as the grovia the elemental will come out either stain free or with very light staining and the grovia will come out with huge dark stains. Even though both are clean and smell the same (clean). I like the elementals or prefolds, I actually don't like my pockets so I'm not sure how helpful I am lol

I find Bum Ware Extreme AIO awesome, my favorite by far.

My Elementals are getting small holes in the cotton lining. They seem to get larger each time they wash. I've owned them for about a year and a half now so they beyond the warranty period. I am disappointed that they didn't last longer in good condition.

I love Tots Bots & Swaddlebees OS (not a side snap fan myself either).
Swaddlebees are super easy to "stuff" because they are open on both ends.
