RnG... so disappointed!

So I have been using unscented RnG for diaper laundry, and just ran out of regular laundry detergent so I washed a load of swimsuits (swim lessons year round here!) in RnG. I thought, hey, this stuff is safe enough for cloth diapers, so it should be fine.

Wrong. The detergent ATE up the rash guard materials, there are now holes in them. I am so angry at myself for not waiting for regular detergent! Now I need to buy new swimsuits for the kids at a time where there aren't that many around and nothing is on sale. UGH.

My washing machine doesn't have an agitator, and it was a small load with plenty of water, and nothing was caught anywhere on the machine. Why did the detergent eat up the fabric?! It doesn't make sense!!!

I guess I am going detergent shopping...

That's weird I use Hard Rock and it's never done anything like that. I even soak my couch cushion covers in it and everything comes out super clean and fresh. Maybe call the company and see what might have gone wrong. The Mama is super nice

Unfortunately RnG has been known on occasion to do that. Sorry

I would contact them. Who knows maybe there is a bad batch. We use rng, but I have learned the hard way NOT to soak in it. Soaking with anything breaks down fabrics.

Re: RnG... so disappointed!

RNG was horrible for me and my diapers.I tired several formulas for some tiem but none came close to cleaning my diapers and my cotton ones started to see wear were years of previous use had shown none. The detergent also gave us nasty rashes I got cut off by the company when I renquired about the rashes.. I switched back to tide which wasn;t the best eaither but way way better thna the RnG.
