Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
Can GMD WH users please tell me the weight of your LOs and the size diaper they are in? I am trying to figure an average since both my 3yo (30ish lbs) and 6mo (20ish lbs) are in the upper range of smaller sizes (L & M). I could go up a size (L & XL), but I thought I read the organics are running big. TIA!

Re: Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
I think the organics run relatively true to size. My DD JUST hit 15 lbs and while she can still fit the yellow edge wh's, she fits in the reds with tons of growing room. I didn't know what size to order so I tried one of each and I was happy with both so I opted for the larger size for more growing room.

Re: Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
Thanks Mama for replying! I emailed Karen for her opinion too and I think I'm going to with brown edge for my 6mo and green edge for my 3yo. Now to decide on a cover LOL.

Re: Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
I first reach for my (always wool at home
) OS blueberry covers over brown WH. Then weehuggers, then thirsties, then flips.(edit-- really odd. I replied to another thread, not this one. So my response doesn't make sense I would have said go with brown (we've been in brown since about 17-20 lb) and green and OP did.)

My 17lb 6 month old DD2 is in both reds and browns. She is outgrowing the rise of reds quickly. She has a long rise....IIRC DD1 fit into reds at 10 months and 20lbs still.
ETA. We use them under wool

My DD is 25 lbs 15 oz (was weighed at Dr's today) and is 17 months old. We use the brown edge workhorses in snapless.

Re: Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
Sorry I just now saw this!
I ended up getting brown and green edges and they are perfect. I can't imagine my baby fitting in the reds after seeing him in the browns. He can even wear the greens with the rise folded down.

Re: Weight of LO & size GMD Workhorse?
Yeah I feel like they run a bit small if anything. I'm in LOVE with the organic. DS3 is 2 months tomorrow and about 12lbs. He fits in yellows but I like the roominess that the red edge give him. I like Capri covers, wool or the new Bummis pull on.
