Re: Hylands Calms forte for kids

It never worked for any of my 3 kiddos. The pediatrician recommended melatonin on the really rough nights. We use 300 mcg when they are small and it worked much better.

If it's a homeopathic, it's not going to work. Homeopathics are bunk. If you see "improvement", it's coincidence. The best product IMO is this. It has theanine, which is fantastic for relaxation. Plus, it tastes SO good

Re: Hylands Calms forte for kids

Mylovely, generally I agree 100% with you. But so far he's gone down for 3 nights in a row in less than 20 minutes. So I don't care if it's coincidence or placebo or what... I'll keep trying it out until I prove to myself it doesn't work and then I'll try something proven ;-)

Northknoxmom I'm using 6 total, 2 every 15 min. Tonight he had a tantrum over something and was really upset and asked if he could have some of the "tiny marshmallows" which is what he calls them. I asked if they make him feel less upset and he said yes, but he's only 2 so who knows. He used to ask for the teething tabs when he was teething too--maybe they work or maybe he just likes that they look like marshmallows

Eta--I'm scared of melatonin this young
