Kindergarten Math
What is your favorite program for Kindergarten math? I am seeing so many options out there. It is kind of overwhelming. What do you use? Do you love it?

Re: Kindergarten Math
We are using Singapore's Essential Math for K. It's working well for my ds and very easy to implement on my part. Ds LOVES it!

Re: Kindergarten Math
Thanks mamas! I was just looking at the Singapore website. Are the two books available all I will need to get started then?

Re: Kindergarten Math
I've used Horizons, Shiller, BJU, and a host of other stuff. We have finally settled on Math U See and just LOVE it. Using it for K and 5th.

Re: Kindergarten Math
We're using math u see and I'm lukewarm on it. We're planning on using math mamaoth next year, and there isn't a press for kindy math with that program. Just basic counting and measuring; no worksheets/bookwork until first grade. I can't speak to how good math mamaoth is/isn't though, so take this with a grain of salt.

Re: Kindergarten Math
I feel like he best part of Singapore math is that you only need the 2 workbooks for Kindergarten and IMO only the 4 books for 1st grade (I didn't bother with the teacher's manual and don't feel like I'm missing anything).
