anyone ever use completecurriculum.com? thoughts?

We are considering this as a good guide for us to follow for teaching first grade. Any experiences?

Eta: we would be using it to know what to teach next, and then finding adequate supplements/methods to teach those things.

Re: anyone ever use completecurriculum.com? thoughts?

I actually bought a year when it was $5 but have not used it yet so I can't say how it is. I did it because it was only $5 and I could use whatever pieces I wanted, like LA for my 2nd and 5th and math for just my 2nd and the Science for my 5th or whatever. However my 2nd grader is now doing more of a Waldorf style curric so I never really got around to using it at all. I think I was really considering using it if the stuff I already had was not good enough or if we burned through it too quickly (Tharen took about 4months for 1st grade) and I needed to be prepared for the next grade quickly. I think it would be plenty to build a basic curriculum without too much added, at least from what I have seen just looking at it. I only really thoroughly looked through LA and Math though.

We use it for Social studies and a jumping off point for science . I like it well enough but I would not pay full price for it.

We just paid $30 for a year and ten lessons. So far.... and I have only poked around with it.... it looks like exactly what we were hoping it would be.
