At what point is something lost with USPS?
I generally get things in 3-5 business days. I have something that left Detroit on the 16th after being sent a couple days before, and it's not been updated since. I have ordered numerous items from this WAHM and they all get here in a few days. This one seems to have left Michigan never to be seen again
I don't think I added insurance on it. It's nighttime wool in a new size so I do need it, I am just not sure I want to order more if ya'll think it's just taking a rest somewhere and will eventually get to CA where it belongs.

Re: At what point is something lost with USPS?
I once had a package take 36 days from Ohio to California. USPS doesnt consider anything lost until 30 days.

Re: At what point is something lost with USPS?
You could always call but... they will just tell you they don't know where it is. Last Christmas I had a package that went everywhere before being delivered. But tracking did update, it's crazy whereabouts.

Re: At what point is something lost with USPS?
So, I did call. And I was actually really surprised by USPS, in a good way!
They have no idea where it is, still. But, they apologized right away that it was missing. No run around. And then they said someone would get back to me, which I was like, yeah right. Then two days later my local post office called, and said they have been trying to figure out which plane it was on leaving Michigan, and are researching what may have happened, and hope that it still shows up. He apologized again, said he sincerely hoped it wasn't something Christmas-related, and giggled when I told him it was cloth diaper covers. In any event, no package, but I was impressed by the level of personal responsibility and service provided by USPS.
