Seven slings??

Have any of you used the free offer to get a seven slings carrier? Wanted to see if its legit and what you thought about the sling.

Re: Seven slings??

it's.... legit.

you have to pay for shipping, so it's not FREE....

and I didn't like them at all. Tried 2 of them.

also, they have the 'free slings' all the time. The code just changes.

I knew I had to pay shipping so that's why I wondered if the were any good. I had a ring sling that I never figured out lol. I use my ergo a lot but was thinking it may be another option

I have one of the "free" slings it was $9.95 for shipping (I think). I didn't really like it until my kids were old enough to hip carry and now it's awesome. It's great for shorts walks (if you have a toddler that likes to walk, but sometimes gets tired) and I use it most at theme parks or the zoo. Both my 20 month old and my 31 month old fit in it w/o causing me a lot of discomfort. I wouldn't use this for an all day carrier though.

I use this in lieu of my Ergo. It's very lightweight and trim.

Re: Seven slings??

I got one and it was nice to have something that was easy on, easy off, especially compared to the Moby. It was also really nice that it folds so small, so it's easy to bring wherever. I do think the 5 month - toddler stage is probably a bit harder in this sling, but I think all carriers have their ideal sizes.

I wouldn't pay full price for it, but for the price I paid, I'm satisfied.

Compared to other pouch slings, the quality is seriously lacking. It's unpadded, the fabric is rough and feels cheap, and the sizing is off (IME, anyway). The shipping cost is also inflated. Personally, I would rather buy a Hotsling or Peanut Shell pouch sling from FSOT, for close to the same price.

I got one and it is worth exactly what you pay in shipping, not a penny more. I have some nicer pouch slings that I would 100% rather use instead and are worth the extra $20-30 I paid for them.

Also, after I ordered I read some things about people claiming their credit cards were showing fraudulent charges, about a month later the same thing happened to our card. I have no way to know if it was because of that purchase or not, but it had never happened until right after I ordered from them. I personally would not order from them again.
