Pain in my right buttock?

Yesterday I started having a sharp pain in my right butt check....it hurts whenever I move. I was hoping it would go away today but it only got worse. I assume baby is laying on a nerve or something? Thoughts?

This was my first thought, too. Could also be your IT band. It connects in your butt and knee so when your hips widen it may become too tight.

Definitely sounds like your sciatic nerve to me... mine on my right side has been bothering me for about a week now and seems to only get worse the further along I get in pregnancy.

sciatica... best thing is to rest. Lay down and take it easy.

Definitely sciatica, I had it with my first, other than resting there wasn't really much that helped it until the baby decided to move off of the nerve

I'm 14 weeks and have been totally disabled by sciatica the last 1.5 weeks. I've been to the chiro, midwife, OB, DO and had no relief. I went an had a massage yesterday and I feel a bit of relief for the first time in 1.5 weeks. If you can get a massage that might help you. If you are in the Kansas city area I can PM you who I went to.
