it's patons classic wool in rosewood and brown trim. i got it because it is cheap and easy to find at most craft stores. i figured that on my first pair i'd make a lot of mistakes and i didn't want to use an expensive hand dyed yarn if it was going to end up looking like a mess. luckily it turned out great and fits DD perfectly!

that it is. i will say though that i was very relieved to be done and happy to move on to other projects. i know i'll make plenty more...just need a 'longies' break for a couple weeks or so after now completing my first pair
