I think #2 was easier. My first was a great nurser from day 1, but by the time I had my second *I* had learned so much about nursing and had a lot of confidence from getting over some of the hurdles that I had faced with my first.

Mine were honestly all very different.

My first, oddly enough, was the easiest. Latched immediately, no issues at all.

I was told in the hospital by lactation that I wouldn't be able to nurse dd2 :/ but once we were home and away from that stress, she latched on perfectly and nursed for the next 2 1/2 years.

DS2 was tongue tied and we didn't clip until 2 months. Then he and I both had terrible thrush. We were both miserable for the first 8 weeks after he was born, but as soon as the thrush cleared, it was smooth sailing.

I just say relax and listen to your baby.
