Hmmm.... The What to Expect Books often give an overview of many different methods that you can then go research. Maybe Happiest Toddler on the Block?? I never read a book other than What to Expect on this particular issue, but I have a background in child development. One thing with children this young to remember is once they are screaming/crying/tantruming, they have lost all reasoning ability and lost control of their emotions. This is frightening. So we always helped both girls calm down and regain control before dealing with any issues.
