Little Play Zone vs 8 Panel Play Center Safety Yard Pen

Which is bigger?

Anyone have one that they love?

Anyone have just the grey play gated pen?

Opinions advice. We have a 5 month old dd and want to get one.
Thx!!

I sparkely heart love my Super Yard. It is great to keep older kids away for tummy time, and great to keep baby safe later on. I bought it with my 3rd, and wish I had bought it sooner.

I was going to get one to corner off a corner of the room for DS1 when we move DS2 in. Would that work?

Probably not. It has to be connected to be sturdy, unless you plan to strap it to the wall. The instructions state that it needs to be in a hexagon. We do ours in a big rectangle sometimes to create more space for the older kids in the room. But it would push over if the ends aren't connected if you don't have it strapped to the wall.

Re: Little Play Zone vs 8 Panel Play Center Safety Yard Pen

We have the superyard. I saw one in BRU that now has a walk through gate, which is a nice feature.

We did use our superyard (the gray plastic one) for awhile (once DS was older and not in the play pen configuration anymore) as a "room divider" but it was more a deterrence for him and our dogs to stay seperate when needed. DS learned pretty fast that he could just slip behind it since it wasn't secured to anything, just leaning against the wall and then an L shape behind a chair that was in the other corner. It did serve it's purpose for awhile. Only one of my dogs ever tested it and figured out she could push it out of the way. The others respected it. It would be more a visual boundary than something to rely on for safety YK?

I would not buy one with the intention of using it as a room divider, if that's what you are asking. there are actual gates made for areas like that. Like this one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20

Re: Little Play Zone vs 8 Panel Play Center Safety Yard Pen

We have two of these put together
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20

We have two large dogs who are too interested in the toddler as well as tendencies to thieve toys. It works well. He can move it around a bit but he also leans all over it and it's sturdy. He likes the music buttons on the panel and has learned the word "Open" and "Door" because he is interested in the door portion.

We bought it when he was 11 months old and cruising around, just starting to walk. Now he is 14 months and loves it. Two together is enough room to roam around and play with lots of stuff. One would be way way too small, IMO.

I had the super yard and used it straight across to block our tv off from toddlers. We also used it as a gated area for toys in the living room. We loved it.

Yep, we have the Super Yard and love it! Once baby becomes mobile, I'll get it out of storage and set it up. I usually keep baby and baby's toys in there while I'm doing chores and not able to sit right with them. Works great, and I don't have to worry about older kids falling on baby as well.
