Diaper Swappers

I love my big boy. He's closing in on 21 pounds and will be 8 months on Christmas. He's been in 12 month clothes (some 9 month stuff fits) since he was about 6 months old. Some people just look at him in a little bit of disbelief when I tell them how old he is. Anyone else out there have/had a chunky kiddo?

My 5 month old is probably 19 or 20lbs, and MASSIVE, she's in 12 month old clothes already and even they are a bit tight with her cloth diapers. The bit that grosses me out the most is the cellulite on her bottom, and the flaps of fat that hang down from the tops of her thighs!

Its a bit hard to get used to after having twins that were on the 0.4th and 20th percentile. The baby is now as heavy as her sister was at about 2 years old!

Haha I love chunky babies! Where are the pics?? My guy has been in the 99th or higher percentile since birth and my husband and I are small people. They all thin out by the time they are toddling around. My guy was 21 lbs at his 6 month and is now 25 but MUCH taller. See pics below of my little chunker!! Gotta love those rolls over the knees... Would be so gross on an adult but ADORABLE on a baby. At least I think so!

Jack now at 10 months and 25 lbs. that trash can is 30 in. Tall for reference.

Lol! I was beginning to think we were the only ones! He's our first and all I've been seeing are long and lanky LO's. Love my chunky monkey.

My good friend's first DS was off the charts from birth. He was always taller, chubbier, and just plain bigger than my DS who is 6 months older. Now they are both 4 and about the same size, though my friend's son is a little more solid.

Ironically her second DS has been the opposite - tiny from birth and in the bottom 10%, only now starting to fill out at 18 months.

DS was 20 lbs. at 6 months . . .

. . . and 20 lbs. 14 oz. at 12 months!

So you just never know if that chunky stuff is going to keep up! I love little baby rolls!

Ds was 29lbs at 12 months (I can't remember where he was at 9 months). He wasn't rolly poly - just very solid - so people were always shocked at how heavy he was. He was almost dropped several times in spite of our warning them that he was heavy. At 3 he omly weighs 35lbs so he grew into his weight. Of course his 5 yr old sister only weighs 37 lbs so he still seems so heavy.
