Should I (and HOW can I) sell to a newbie?

Someone with 5 posts would like to buy an item from me.

But I am not sure how to proceed with the transaction without broadcasting all of my info all over the net. How can I give her my paypal info? or communicate privately with her? She cannot PM yet.

I would tell her to go comment enough to get pm privileges. It's really not that hard and I don't think I would take it to email.

I have sold to newbies before and like the previous poster said, I make them post enough so that they are able to PM. I do not go though email nor do I leave my info in a post for all to see.

Agreed. When I was new I wanted to buy right away. It doesn't take that many posts to be able to PM.

I have done a couple but have taken it to email. I have not had any problems.

I thought it was 5 posts? Maybe more than 5 so she would need the 6th post? Not entirely sure.

I would ask for her paypal address and then just send an invoice.

Re: Should I (and HOW can I) sell to a newbie?

Oh no, what am I missing? I've told people to give me their email address and then I've emailed them so now they have my email, full name, etc. Is this bad, can they get my personal info this way? or some other reason?
SS to hijak your thread! Now I'm worried!

It takes 6 posts to PM. I'd just ask that she post once more and PM me
