Hi ladies!

I'm new to DS but have been struggling with accepting and helping to diminish melasma in very awkward places on my face ("Hitler mustache," anyone?) and would like some insight from others much wiser than me.
I am in my early 30s and have no natural-born children. I stopped The Pill over a year ago and used sunscreen daily during the 3 years I spent as an outdoor field instructor. I currently have a sunscreen that an aesthetic spa recommended, but the spots are not reducing. It's SO frustrating as I am an no-makeup kinda crunchy, but I feel chained to the stuff to keep the ashy-ness from being so obvious. (I have had hair salons insist I get a lip wax when I go in for a haircut!)
Please, PLEASE tell me this is not until death do us part for me and my alien friend Melasma!
