I'm the oddball but I would still need at least 20 or so for my 17 month old. He poops 2-3 times a day, though, and is a HW. I have to change him frequently or it is disastrous.

Re: Soo...whats the LEAST number of dipes you could get away with?
Minimum I would need 2 wool soakers and 20 flats plus doublers. My son typically uses between 6-8 diapers a day. Their are times though when he goes through up to a dozen in a day. If I had fewer diapers I would be wasting water or running out and using sposies. 1 sposie package would practically pay for another dozen imagine flats. So for me it would be a waste of money to use sposies as fillers.

Re: Soo...whats the LEAST number of dipes you could get away with?
I WOH full time. I could get by washing/folding/putthing away 2 times a week and there fore 40 diapers would do it.
In reality I only fold/put away laundry once a week (even regular laundry I wash/dry a couple times a week) so right now I have a stash of about 80 diapers for DD. That is just about right. I have some larger sizes in storage that could work if I needed them

A bamboo flat with a hemp doubler works for us!

Probably 10 AIOs if I absolutely HAD to. The lowest number I've ever had was 12 when DS was 10 months old and EBF. I'm not gonna lie, it was a B

Soo interesting to read!!! My smallest stash was 12 pockets washing every other day. It was tight for sure!! I'd probably be way more comfortable with 18.
