Babies over 9lbs- can you share the birth weights of your children?

I have had 4 big babies. here are the weights:

9lbs 3oz
9 lbs 7oz
9lbs 4oz
10lbs 7oz

I'm super scared of having a big baby again, especially since the last one got stuck on the way out.

Just curious about the weights of others who have had babies over 9 lbs...

My number 4 was 9-0 at 38 weeks.

My number 7 was 10-5 at 40 weeks.

Both vaginal births. Neither had blood sugar issues nor did I have gestational diabetes.

DS was 8 lbs 8 oz (1 day "late"), DD was 9 lbs 4 oz (8 days late). Golly, I sure hope any future babies aren't bigger!

Re: Babies over 9lbs- can you share the birth weights of your children?

My first was 6 # at 35 weeks. My second was 10# 4oz at 40 weeks, homebirth, easy and awesome. My third is still brewing, I am guessing between 9 an 11 pounds depending on when he/she makes his/her debut. No blood sugar, BP, etc. Issues at all. Everyone in my family has big babies, I am the only one who has them vaginally though.

Your body will not grow a baby that is too large for you to birth. You are not flawed. Get some help to release the fears you have, and allow your body to open and birth this baby as it was designed to do. Hypnobirthing worked wonders on my anxiety about my first being early and small. He was born early and small, but his birth was orgasmic, and he was perfectly healthy. Without that knowledge and respect, I don't know how well my second birth would have been. Trust your body, trust your baby.
