Bummer! I'd offer to send you some but that wouldn't work

I'd definitely try Tide F&G then. So sorry you are having problems!!

We have soft water and a TL and use Tide F&G powder. I also use a splash of bleach in the prerinse cycle. We have no stinkies and no ammonia.

Yes but only if I add a scoop of oxyclean. I've used both powder and liquid in a TL, and liquid in a FL, and I have found the oxy to be necessary in all cases.

Re: Tide F& G

We used it for quite awhile with total success. I switched because I got bored but it did work great.

Update - today was day three in diapers washed in Tide F&G so far so good and I'm loving It. DS is in the nighttime fitted that first caused the rash and had stink in EcoSprout so we will see tomorrow am how clean it got this diaper. It's been a long time since we have had no hint of stink in the morning from his night diaper. Even today when I washed his diapers from the past two days the pail wasn't as strong as normal and his diapers came out smelling clean without having to use bleach. The water was pretty sudsy, I used to the 1 line for a medium load, ended up doing a couple nothing washes to ensure all detergent was out. Will have to use less next time lol.

I have used Tide Free or Tiny bubbles for years, never an issue with either. In that time I have lived in 4 homes, with 3 different washing machines!!

I'm really loving it too! DS night diapers have never smelt so good in the morning lol (just smell of pee and nothing else. Yay!) I also love that I don't feel the need to use bleach as his diapers smell clean after washing in detergent alone. I've only added bleach once to the wash and it's because he decided to poo in his morning diaper the other day and I wanted to ensure it got disinfected. Today marks one week of use and I am really happy with our results.

I have been using the HE liquid F&G in my FLer with no problems, though I do add a capful of bleach as needed.
