Can you get a hold of your local Christmas Clearing House for gifts for the kids? Or I would suggest picking up a copy of the Complete Tightwad Gazette for homemade gifts made from things you already have on hand...also tons of stuff online for this.

WAY TO GO IDAHO!!!!! How amazing you have found yourself in the deep end nad determined to get out of it. Too many people make excuses as to why they can't do pay things and can't afford this nad that but aren't willing ot make cuts in areas that really are frivilous. You are chanign your family tree, learning what really is important and finding the real satisfaction in doing so...... I am proud of you!

We had yrs in the beginning of our marriage that were VERY tough financially, and because of those first few, when things got really tight these last yrish due to job changes etc. We were fine and enjoyed our geting back to the bare min. life again. It is all in how you view it, some view it as misery and punishment, others view it as a challenge. I love a good challenge!!

aww thankyou, what a lovely post! I do feel proud of myself, it hasn't been easy and I'm sure it wont for a little while but it feels "right" and "good" and I can sleep better at night lol
I know we will come good again and I will appreciate it sooo much.
