First pair of Longies :) I Loooove Yarnin'

Ok, the yarnin' came from my husband. The word knitting slipped his mind so all he could think of was yarnin'. I thought it was cute Anyway, I started knitting Thanksgiving and knitted a matching hat and diaper cover. Then, I decided to use the good yarn I had already so ambitiously bought. So, here they are:

I do have a question. Actually, two questions. Does BFL work the same as merino? And, if I knit both the legs at the same time that should keep the color from pooling, right?

I had to laugh out loud when I read this, because my oldest son once called it yarnin' and my dh overheard and has called it yarnin' ever since. When I'm dyeing yarn, or knitting, or crocheting, or just drooling over Ravelry patterns...I'm yarnin'! Love it!

How did you learn ... Book , youtube, friend, class? I ask bc i want to learn sooooo bad but dont know how to even begin.

I learned solely from knittinghelp.com - I have to physically see and follow along what I am being taught. They have short videos teaching different knitting techniques I referred to when working through the pattern. You can pause the videos - very handy! And, they aren't long and drawn out making you wait forever to get to the point. Oh ya, there is a huge glossary to help decipher acronyms that comes in extremely handy
