My (almost) 9 month old HATES solids
He's basically still EBF. I started introducing solids at 6 months old, but he wasn't interested. We've tried a little bit of blw and I've tried making baby purées too. Any suggestions to help get him into food? Is there even anything I can do?

Re: My (almost) 9 month old HATES solids
Some of the things that have helped here are allowing/encouraging lots of messy food play both with chunks of mushy foods like avocado and banana and also puddles of baby food on the tray, playing some games with food items- like having the food "kiss" the baby on the lips, providing preloaded spoonfuls for baby to play around with, and Baby Mummums have been starting to be popular here too.

Re: My (almost) 9 month old HATES solids
I was in your same boat a couple months ago. My Ds2 was the same way. We did a lot of things that PP mentioned. A lot of my ds2 issue was that he wanted to feed himself. So I made some homemade teething biscuits and let start eating the gerber puffs around 9 months and he started taking to those. He truly started eating around 10 months as long as he could feed himself. Now at 11 months he is eating everything I know it's hard but hang in there he will get it
