Question about Smart Wool toddler socks

Wasn't sure where to put this.

My DS is currently in shoe size toddler 5.5-6. We have the 24 month size smartwool socks but they are really too small now. Is it worth buying the 3T size or are they only a tiny bit bigger? What shoe size did they fit until?

Re: Question about Smart Wool toddler socks

We have both sizes, and they both fit our toddlers size 10 feet. (Though obviously the 24 month are tighter) I think you may have shrunk them? In any case, there is a good difference in the sizes IMO.

They sell 5T ones! Same patterns as the 2t/3t sizes - check out sierratradingpost.com and "like" them on Facebook for coupon deals, they run them every day or two, so wait for a 30 or 40% one if you can!

Woah, that is kinda surprising to me since I thought I paid attention to this when I bought them and I don't remember shrinkage. How do you wash yours?

I've been looking to buy from Sierra Trading Post, but I don't see 5T anywhere. Anyway, the previous poster makes me think I may not need that size for awhile!

My 2.5 year old wears a 10 or 11 shoe and fits into his sister's 12-24 month SmartWools, as well as his 2T-3Ts! They look too small but really do fit perfectly.

ETA - as far as shrinking them... I don't know if that's possible. I wash in hot and dry on high with no issues.

Same here, my DD wears about a size 10 and still wears her original 2 pairs, that I'm guessing are 12-24 months.
