Re: Does anyone NOT have pockets?

I have no pockets and no aios. I use fitteds on outings, and wool full time.

Re: Does anyone NOT have pockets?

We used to have pockets and I hate how they fit. We have Simplex which technically are an AIO with a pocket opening, but we don't utilize the pocket. DS is almost 2 and fitteds make my 30 pounder impossible to put pants on so our entire stash is AIO.

I have several pockets but I'm packing then away for the moment in case I decide to use them some later. I mainly use flip covers and a couple other pul covers thrown in a s prefolds or flats. Use sposies at night because dd kept getting rashes in cloth at night.

We don't have pockets at all. I don't really get it. Polyester against my babies' skin, stuffing, and needing a whole new diaper each change is a triple con list for us with no pros that I can think of. We use covers with trifolded inserts, like an all in two, going out just like we do at home. I put them together at laundry time, and they are still just like a one piece diaper at change time.

None here. We use fitteds exclusively at home and BGEs while out and about.

Be brave! I think wool is the best to go out in. Virtually no leaks!

Oh, and hi from across the river

Re: Does anyone NOT have pockets?

I've never even tried a pocket. I think I've tried most other types of diapers: fitteds, prefolds, flats, PUL covers, fleece covers, wool covers, AIOs, and AI2s. I know lots of people love them, but I just don't get it.

We generally use snappied prefolds with various covers no matter where we are. I do own a couple AIOs and fitteds, but I find switching diaper types defeats the supposed ease of the "easier" types. The easiest thing for me is to just keep doing what I usually do. Like if I put an AIO in my bag to use when I'm out, I have to think a little more to remember to use the AIO rather than continue with my prefolds. Then if I don't end up having enough AIOs to last the entire outing, I will need to switch back to prefolds and covers and that's more difficult that just sticking with them from the beginning.

I loved my bg pockets with my son but sold them all when dd seemed sensitive to stay dry material as a nb. She is now 8 months and her sensitivity has vanished so I have bought a few more pockets. I mostly use flips with prefolds or aio's but I like pockets because they are pretty fool proof and I can stuff them according to what I need. I also like her bum to be dry as much as possible.

Oh I did use an empty pocket diaper today for a swim diaper. Seemed to work great for that
