They will hold up a long time. I used them through 4 kids no problem, but absorbency wasn't the best. I loved them for running around at home and without insert were what I used to pl my oldest. I did find the AI2's to be very absorbent and loved them.

My babies were all in the 5 lbs range coming home from the hossie and NB Mutts fit right away.

Also in the past couple years she has added absorbency to the diapers. The caterpillar tag logo are the newest version that I am aware of. They are more absorbent than her earlier ones.

I think I'm funny because the babyshapes never fit my daughters the right way and would pull down when I pulled pants off, sometimes making a mess And it wasn't because of user error! Just way too stretchy.
