Moving to NH-cloth scene?
Hi ladies,
I'm currently living in Houston and the cloth scene here is amazing. We will be moving to the Conway area this winter and am wondering if there are as many families involved and interested in cloth diapers/family cloth items? It's nice to be able to talk/share ideas/make friends with other families who do this and I'm just hoping that people won't look at me like I'm crazy when me move there haha |

Re: Moving to NH-cloth scene?
Haven't been up there yet but at least around here cloth diapers seem to be widely accepted; the state is definitely very keen on environment in general so I wouldn't think that people will think cloth diapers are weird thing

The north part of state is beautiful but hope you're prepared for the winter!
I'm in southern part of state but there is fair amount of people who CD but it's not super widespread. If anything, most people are accepting and usually interested if you mention you use cloth.

Re: Moving to NH-cloth scene?
Hi, I live in Eaton Center, about 10-15 minutes away from Conway. I'm new to CD'd and will have a DD in Dec (first baby). I don't know how widespread CDing is but we have a motto here in NH: "live free or die". Pretty much whatever you do will accepted; we're very outdoorsy up here and people will think it's probably cool! I'd like to (pre-extend) a warm welcome to you. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions about the area... I've posted several messages today so I can actually PM people now (am new to this site)!!

Re: Moving to NH-cloth scene?
I'd say not much. My son goes to an eco friendly daycare and last I checked only one child was CD (mine was before PL).
I actually find it surprising how little people care about the environment in such a beautiful state. I'm southern NH, btw.
