We are faithful Catholics and believe whomever God sends us, is who we are meant to LOVE! I did need a nonstress test at 36 week check up for #3, SUDDEN PRECLAMPSIA symptoms and induction followed that night! Never had that with #1 or #2. "NOT FUN!!" especially since I prefer natural delivery. Who knew, he's still a spitfire at 3!
similar here! Also due in Aug (#5 for us) and I will be 35 (hopefully) upon delivery. We too will take whatever God blesses us and we don't do the extra testing either. We do however do ultrasounds

I'm 38 too! I'm so surprised that my Dr. hasn't really mentioned my age yet.

Re: 35+ mama's?

I am 37 & will turn 38 in late July. Baby is due the end of Aug.

I never really thought about myself being AMA, but I guess I am... especially since my dd started getting college recruiting letters in the mail this week!!! She is almost 17 & Junior in High School!! Scary!!

My computer's history this week has a bunch of college websites for her, videos of Tae Kwon Do forms for my 8yo ds who will be testing for his yellow belt in Feb, and pregnancy websites for me!!

We are all over the board in life stages!!

Re: 35+ mama's?

All my babies were born while I was in my 30's.

Re: 35+ mama's?

I will turn 40 about 6 weeks before baby is due. I think maybe I am the "grandma" in this group, lol. This is #6 for us. My MW doesn't care one way or the other about me being "old".

Re: 35+ mama's?

I am 36 and will stay that way until a few months after Nathaniel is born. However he was conceived in July 2007 (when I was 30) so I really don't care what any doctor has to say to me about my age. The way I see it, I have bigger fish to fry!

I think I know what you're saying, but I'm totally giggling that is sounds like you've been pregnant for 6 years.
