I bought a lot of 500 Legos on eBay on the 9th. I was so excited, I didn't check feedback first. bad idea!!! Many people said they were shorted Legos, dirty, junk in the boxes. Seller took over a week to ship after I paid, and I just got them. I counted and OF COURSE, I'm 60 short, and with a handful of junk.

I emailed and asked what the seller wanted, and she said that there's no way any are missing bc they're hand counted (uh yeah, I counted too) and to return them. I got free shipping. What do I do? Obviously return them, but these were supposed to be a Christmas present for DS. I will just go buy more, but I don't want to be out shipping bc of this lady.

Oh and I'm already cranky at the seller after looking at feedback. She calls people "100% bad person" and says they're working with other Lego sellers. Seriously over 30 neutral/negative feedback that she responded to like that!! Clearly she's just a rude, vengeful person I will never forget to check feedback again!!

You can open an ebay case. Say that they seller won't return you money unless you return it but they also won't give you return shipping when its there fault.

Okay so I should ask for her to pay return shipping? I wasn't sure about that. Sorry my post wasn't clear on what I was asking!

I would just leave negative feedback and keep the Legos.

I would say you would like refund for item not gotten. And figure out about how much the musing could be. From experience.

There is nothing you can do to get return shipping (unless the seller volunteers to pay it.) I would return them using the cheapest shipping option available if she is unwilling to do a partial refund.
Ebay or Paypal will not force her to pay return shipping. I would open a case if she doesn't agree before hand to give you a full refund.

eBay will sometimes send you a prepaid label for return shipping if you make a big enough stink about it.

Thanks for the info everyone. I did figure it up before and it's about $3 worth missing. I guess I wanted to see what her solution would be since she's so rude in responding to feedback. How should I word my response?

"I am willing to accept a partial refund of $3.06 for the missing Legos or please send me ~$6.65 for return shipping with DC."

I don't want to get negative feedback from her. I very rarely use eBay but don't want my score harmed.

Sounds reasonable but i dont think you are going to win with this woman. She doesnt seem reasonable. Lego conspiracy? Sounds mental.
