Congratulations on getting your girls!
March I know you probably won't see this until after the babies are born, but just know you are in our thoughts and prayers for a healthy delivery.

I know people do it! Just not in my comfort level nor the comfort level of my providers. I'm meeting with a doctor today to discuss a trial of labor in-hospital, so I may have a breech-breech vaginal delivery. He's two hours away so it will come down to whether or not he'll induce. Don't want a roadside breech birth, and I have a history of precipitous labor.

Re: Preggo Twin Mama Buddy Group!

So I'm starting to think about packing my hospital bag. I can't remember for the life of me what I had in there years ago when I gave birth to dd.
What do you think I'll need?

Laura, can't wait to hear your birth story, no matter how it happens Praying for you and babies!
Kristen- Yay for two girls! How exciting!
ilovemygirl- how many weeks are you? I am planning a homebirth, so I'm not packing a bag, so no help there, but in the past it seems like I didn't need most of the stuff I brought!
We had an u/s today, and they've put on over a lb apiece since our last one 2 weeks ago, but baby A is still measuring small. At least the gap between hasn't substantially increased I have a feeling they will both be a bit bigger than they think they will be. Getting close to the 5 lb mark for B, and hopeful both will hit at least 6 lbs before they are born. I can't believe it's getting so close! 35 weeks tomorrow!

I opted for the cesarean. Hated the surgery so much and am hating the recovery. It really is "that bad" to me. But these babies are perfect and breastfeeding is going beautifully. I go back and forth between feeling like, ugh, it was such a waste, all this hard work in pregnancy just to have them cut out of me and remembering what my midwife told me as we were making the decision--that it DOES suck and healthy babies aren't "all" that matters, but ultimately I worked so hard not JUST for an OOH birth or a waterbirth or a vaginal birth, but so that I could give birth to full-term, perfectly healthy babies, and that's what I did.

March - I'm so sorry you had to have the surgery but I'm thrilled to hear how well things are going otherwise. Congrats on your wonderful babies and for making it so far in your pregnancy

Re: Preggo Twin Mama Buddy Group!

I failed the initial blood glucose. Going tomorrow for the 3 hour glucose test. And I'm anemic, so dr. called in some pills. I'm also researching iron rich foods, so hopefully I can get on top of it. I knew it was possible since I've been chewing on ice, which is a sign of low iron. Otherwise, all is good and babies and I are trucking.

I hope the glucose test goes well. That doesn't sound like a fun one; thankfully I've never had to do it. I'm taking an iron supplement as well, and it seems to be helping. Glad everything else is good How far along are you?
