my nephew has claimed from the beginning that I'm having a boy and his name will be 'bone'.

We had our DS's name picked out but weren't sharing with anyone. So we made up a code name using the same initials. Jedi Elvis. (My husband is a star wars fan and is from Memphis).

The baby is actually named Jacob Evan

So funny! When I was little we got a puppy and my Dad was learning Latin at the time. He named the dog Publius!! It was awful. He called the dog "Poob" for short which sounds like several body parts/bodily excretions. People would always hear him say "Poob" and ask, "What did you just call that dog?!?".

A friend just had a baby (girl). Her older DD had said, during the pregnancy, that she wanted the baby to bee named Nemo...so the baby is born, has a beautiful, feminine name & a cute nickname, but big sister refuses to call her anything but Nemo. And that's what she tells her friends the baby is named. So now there are a handful of toddlers calling the baby Nemo
