Talk to me about stainless bottles
Sorry to forum crash, but I figure formula moms would have the most informed opinions on bottles
I plan to breastfeed, but I know that sometimes that doesn't work out. Even if I am successful at bfing, I plan to pump some, too (for backup and so daddy can feed the baby.) My sister had the best results with Dr. Brown bottles, so I've collected Dr. Brown parts and evenflow standard glass bottles. (I'm not opposed to PET plastics, but in my house if it doesn't play nicely with the dishwasher, it ain't getting washed.)
Amazon just kicked up a recommendation for the pura stainless steel bottle. According to the pura site, their bottles work with Dr. Brown's wide nipples. I'm really curious since a stainless bottle would satisfy my dishwasher requirements and be shatterproof.
1. Will the pura bottle work with the Dr. Brown "straws" and such, or just the nipples?
2. Will it be a problem to shift between wide Dr. Brown nipples and standard?
3. Is there another stainless bottle out there that works with the Dr. Brown setup?
ISO: A contractor who shows up and actually does the work for which I am paying him without me standing over him like he is a child who won't clean his room.
The remodel isn't going well.
