Excellent post!

I went to school in Canada until halfway through 5th grade then I moved to the us. It was SUCH a shocking, drastic difference. I was left out and ridiculed for absolutely everything, and it damaged my confidence in a long lasting way.
Not all schools are like that but the first one I went to in the us was bad, and I totally see how many kids get hurt by this mentality.

Little by little it can change. Thank you for focusing on inclusiveness with your students! And for posting this as a reminder. My kids are homeschooled but I'm going to make more of an effort to instill this in them
