-Carseat (our infant seat would have made it through this baby, but we gave it away since we thought we would wait longer between baby #2 & 3--d'oh!!! Could have made it through 3 babies)

-considering a PNP, but not a need. Might be helpful to have a quick place to safely put him down upstairs. gave ours away

-milk storage bags (thanks for the reminder!)
-bottles just-in-case (I'm sure we will eventually resume date nights)

-might consider a bouncer. Not a need, but one of my boys liked it. Gave ours away, lol.

Neither of my boys liked swings, so I think I'll skip it this time. We should get our jumperoo back. They only had mild interest in confining entertainers like jumperoos and exersaucers. We will see if this guy is chill before investing in that stuff.

I've already stocked up on dipes and the sizes of clothes I had given away. Still have strollers, got a couple more carriers. Still have our cosleeper and pump.

Re: What do you need to purchase for baby?

My list...

Carseats (gave mine away, and it would have been fine.)
Baby clothes (gave everything 0-12 months away...again, stupid decision.)
Diapers
Milk storage bags (thank you for the reminder)
A new baby carrier and wrap
New crib mattress (ours was ruined when our basement flooded.)

I think that's it. I still have a lot of basic things (nursing pillow, blankets, PnP, pump, etc.) This is our 4th boy, all born in the spring. I had TONS of nice baby clothes that I gave away. I kind of regret it but at least they went to someone who could use them. On the other hand, if you're baby #4, you're doomed to a life of hand-me-downs, you deserve something new when you're born, right?

Re: What do you need to purchase for baby?

Nothing really, I have been shopping for months aready

Sister lent me a car seat and she found me a swing that does front to back and side to side for $10-nice!

I still have an ergo and maya sling from my babies before along with a ton of baby clothes. I did buy a few more nb sleepers and socks-hit a warehouse sale and got some petunia pickle bottom sleepers, blackets and socks all in organic cotton for %70 off-so cute!!!

I bought all my nb cloth diapers months ago and just finished restocking my BGE's in new lovely girly colours along with hit the babylegs %75 off sale and got nb babylegs for her to wear with cloth diapers.

I am still looking for nb wool booties and a soaker, might need some shirts but I think we are set for the most part. Oh and maybe some new avent breast pump parts but that's all.

Re: What do you need to purchase for baby?

I don't think we need much, thank goodness. But, there are still a few items that I want:

Arm's Reach - need somewhere to put baby when DS comes in & wants to snuggle. We only have a queen, so even co-sleeping with the baby is tight. Our PnP from DS bit the dust this past summer.

- Boppy covers & maybe a second Boppy
- Nursing bras & tanks & pads
- New bedroom set for DS as he prepares to move into a new room (twin mattress, dresser, bookshelf, etc)
- More clothes?? Not sure yet. Need to go through DS's old stuff to see what is useable, and then my sister mentioned sending some of my niece's old clothes for me.
- Sheets, changing pad cover, curtains for the nursery

I think that's about it. Yay! Hopefully we'll be making a decision on the contractor to finish our basement this week and that can get rolling. Once that's done, we can move DS to his new room and finish up the nursery for this LO.

I have no idea. My cousin just called to tell me she's throwing a shower and I have no idea what to register for. I've been buying little things here and there and I just got back all my baby stuff I loaned out (swing, bumbo, bouncer, playmat). Ive got a mini pack and play for our room for a diapering area. Maybe a few more newborn sleepers would be good, soothies and a few bottles. I don't use boppies, have tons of carriers, and enough diapers.

Oh I do need to get pumping supplies since I got a job! Here's hoping my PIS is still fine I've barely used it.
