Found! Please delete.

Thanks so much for all the generous offers!! <3

I met a local woman through freecycle who is in need of things for her baby (new baby, hubby just got out off the military and is looking for a job). She is interested in cloth diapers to save money, so I gave her what I could spare from my stash, but it was not nearly enough to diaper a baby. I'd love to be able to help her out more, but have very little to work with. I can repair elastics and aplix, so thats no problem, as long as pul/snaps are functional. I'd love to find 10-12 more dipes for her. OS would be great, but smalls/mediums would work for her as well right now. I'd be happy to trade anything in my trade thread (link in siggy) and I do have some pp available as well. Let me know if you can help! Thanks!

Are prefolds an option? If so, I have some homemade flannel prefolds from a remnant of a sheet I'm happy to donate if that would be helpful.

i have some very cheap hybrid diaper inserts/soakers/diapers, whatever you wanna call them. they can be laid in any wrap style cover, snappied or pinned to use with a pull-on type cover, or used as an insert in a pocket diaper. they are basically prefolds cut and serged to shape like a contour diaper. the link is in my signature. i could sell 1 dozen for $33 shipped

i also have some one-size snap closure hybrid PUL covers in EEUC. i haven't taken pics or listed them yet, but i have 1 each of green, white, yellow, and blue, they have snap-down rises, inner leg gussets and i could sell them for $9 shipped each.

Thanks so much! This is a first time cd momma, and to be honest, after 4 years of cding, I still have no clue how to use pfs. if you can direct me to a good pf tutorial, I'm sure that she would be more than happy to use those. I just wouldn't want to frustrate her when she's just starting. Kwim?

Re: Iso cheap diapers for a needy family

I do, which is why I asked. I'm happy to donate them, but since they will cost a fair amount to ship, I don't want to bother if she is not likely to use them. PFs are without a doubt the cheapest way to CD a child, though, so maybe when you see her you can just mention this and that they require pins/snappis, and if she seems interested, get back to me. If not, no problem.
