Basically it's Thursday!

OK house picked up, dog mess cleaned up (swept kitchen of straw, cleaned dog bowls). MH's room beaten back into submission, Christmas toys have place and are mostly in it. Last load of random stuff in the washer. Bread on a final rise. Before nap I will shower and put on clean jammies. I have another pile of clean clothes to put away for Jerry and I then fluff and make our bed.
All the stuff I need for the roast and pie organized and ready.
Looks like it might snow again this afternoon.

The kids have eaten.

Heiner and I are having the very last bits of the Christmas dinner turned into a pie. I added all the veg, potatoes, duck and some curry into a baking tin and put some puff pastry on the top. It's baking now.

Kari, Jerry got me that same one in red yesterday for our anniversary. I am making a yummy pot roast in it today.

Not too bad. Although I think if I make another kitchen purchase DH might murder me. I will stick with the enamelware pot my grandma got at the grocery store for now.

Snowstorm time here. We have cancelled our supper reservations and will go next week. I don't want to drive and stress about the weather while we're trying to have a nice dinner. We are going to have a Chinese fondue (like a hot pot) here with my parents tonight instead.

Ru and I went shopping this morning. I got a new coat. It's a medium! I really love it. It's a teal colour, and a bit longer than my old one. Good incentive not to gain the weight back. We also went ahead and took advantage of sales to get E's snowsuit for next year. A size 8. We bought it at a big kid store. He is getting so old!

E is really enjoying playing chess and Beyblades and his new Skylander game for Wii. He is taking a bit of a break now. We are going down to visit my Granny for a bit at 3.
