Re: Rising HCG levels but nothing on u/s...
With my last MC, I had a level of 1515 and I am definitely the exception to the rule, but I had a fetal pole and a HR at that level....BUT usually you don't see a good sac until at a level of around 1300 and a fetal pole at 5000. It looks promising that your levels are rising well. You usually don't even see anything until around 5-6 weeks. Praying for a nice sticky bean with a strong HR!
I know this time is extremely hard! I have been there more than I care to say.

You need to wait until 6.5 weeks. I had an ultrasound at 5.5 weeks with this pregnancy due to bleeding and only showed a thickened lining. 6.5 weeks, baby and a heartbeat

Re: Rising HCG levels but nothing on u/s...
4 weeks is definitely too early to be seeing anything (unless your dates are off). At 5-6 weeks you may see the sac and possibly fetal pole, but you may also see nothing still.
By 6.5-7 weeks, you would see the wee bean in there and a heartbeat as well. If you can put off the appt, I would wait another week, until closer to 7 weeks. That one would "tell" you much more than early ones. Although, if there's something else they're watching for, with the early ones, than I'd do those as well, just not expect to see anything until later on.

Re: Rising HCG levels but nothing on u/s...
I had lots of achs and pains and crampy feeling with both pregnancies. I wouldn't worry that it's etopic. It's common to feel achy and pinching.

ITA it's too early. I'm surprised they even did US for you that early. I would also push your next appt back a week, I would worry the next one would just stress you out more. GL and lots of sticky vibes.

I'm with everyone else...it was just too early. Next week, I'd guess you would just see a sac and fetal pole, at most. Ask your doctor if what you're seeing is normal but I'm sure that it is. I, too, have never heard of them doing u/s quite this early but I'm sure your doctor has their reasons. I'm sending you sticky vibes!!

I had read that you *could* see nothing on u/s until 5 1/2 weeks and that's totally normal. I had an u/s at 4w3d due to bleeding and they saw nothing and told me probably m/c...but I'm almost 9wks and def still preg.

Re: Rising HCG levels but nothing on u/s...
I was going to say, too - at 5 weeks (almost exactly, every time) I get a lot of cramping. It's very worrisome, but I've not gotten it with my early losses actually. I will have a good day or 2 of cramping and weird feelings, then it'll pass, then another day or 2 later I'll wake up with a sudden "bump" there - I'm assuming it's stretching, "growing pains".
