See Kari, I find a day alone at home or a pedi with a friend as renewing as a big trip. I honestly do, I know others don't.

I personally felt badly when my parents went on a trip without me. I was young when they went the first time without me and I remember wondering why and no one answering me. I do not blame them, I an just choosing to do it differently. For now we will not both go on long trips without out her. A night or two fine, more than that, nope. That works for us.

The thought of getting a pedi right now is sinful. The thought of getting to be in my house by myself for a few hours is even better. I am so used to it and haven't had it for awhile. Even better.... in my house with laundry caught up and everything clean, by myself, no kids.....

The pound cake is ok but the decoration isn't visible. Shame but I can ice it and add other decorations.

It's this one. Cami wanted it because it says happy birthday on it. But you cant see any of the details at all. The balloons aren't clear at all either.

Ok, it's not that exact one, mine has a few less balloons on it but otherwise it's the same.

It'll be ok. I'll ice it and then add some pink sugar pearls. I have big and little ones in pearl-pink and some pink hearts too. I have food colouring so I can make pink butter icing. It'll be fab.
