The realtor called this morning and will be showing the house for the first time Thursday- woot woot! That lit a fire under my tail and I spent all day purging and organizing. Some stuff I counted individually, some stuff I counted as a lot. At the end of the day the final tally of stuff out of my house is......421! I have to say I'm a little bit disappointed that it wasn't more though. I really tried to pare down anything that I don't love or don't foresee using in the near future. Oh well, as the move gets closer I'm sure more will go!

ETA: 421/2013, 1592 to go!
That's awesome about selling clothes
Good luck with the showing!

Re: 2,013 Items in 2013!

Got started yesterday... 200 items of clothing and fabric into bags to go to the dumpster or the homeless shelter. Threw out the trash last night, the donate bags are in the car to drop off before work today. 1813 items left to go!

I'm in! I desperately need the accountability. I will probably only update on weekends though since our weekdays are so busy.

Re: 2,013 Items in 2013!

I made this a facebook event, and my grandma and a few friends joined! I'm not quite sure I like admitting to the people I know how much junk I have to get rid of!

Re: 2,013 Items in 2013!

it would be so much easier to donate things, but I need to sell some things first if possible. I can't buy things unless I sell things, I need night time do poo we for 4 yr old... any suggestions for those big kid bed wetters?
so that is 17 items now for domain and a dozen that need sold.

17/2013
I will be posting things today and try to tackle some more purging, I just can't seem to put this baby down
