Trashed 20 small junky toys & a pair of slippers .

Donated a Christmas stocking, a robot toy, a child's petticoat from my old 50's costume, a book & a small block set.

ETA: 12 items from the kitchen.

ETA2: added a book & another toy to the donate pile.

Re: 2,013 Items in 2013!

I would love to rid myself of 2,013 unwanted/unneeded things. The problem is keeping things for the next baby. How do you decide what to keep for future children?
I wish I could continue rotating baby items with family and friends having children, but we're the last in line for all of these things now.

I'm almost done with phase 1. The giant purge. That must be the perk of living in a one bedroom with little storage and no garage.

Just need to do a few kitchen cubbards and the hall closet. Oh and the dresser.

And count for today.

My apartment is looking fantastic.

I kept mine for 4 years. I finally donated them. I think you jut have to know when the time is. I didn't until this year. Something said to me to just get rid of them. I kept a few clothing items. My moby and my pump.

I went well over 2,012 items last year and while my house feels minimal, I'd like to really push myself for 2013, so my goal is to double my amount.

Current Count: 404/4026
Putting laundry away, I found 2 more things to donate.

I'm not counting things that go in trash/recycling.

Total: 406/4026

Yesterday and today count= 56. Including 2 large items. (Drying rack and white plastic cabinet) an a whole bin of film (large) canisters. I managed to rearrange my craft stuff and purged 3 milk crates of items. Now I have 3 laundry baskets( will use the milk crates for that) One for each. That will be nice.

Kitchen is almost done too.

The first wave is goin nice. (And nice that dh took DS to work with him so I got some alone time to do it.)

430/1538 to go
