I've been mia for a few days, but have tossed out some things here and there. Things like old bottles of sunscreen that we have been keeping, a huge stuffed animal duck, books, etc. I'll count it as 7 items.

Then today I went through the cup cupboard and recycled old cups, lids, and straws from fairs and restaurants. I got rid of 10 items there. I also sorted through the downstairs toys again and have 5 more items to donate. I also created a box for baby toys to keep, just not keep out. So that is getting rid of a lot of clutter! I have lots of stuff to get rid of, and need to organize the stuff we're keeping!

I accidentally broke a glass shelf in M's toy room today so I had no choice but to give it a thorough cleaning to be sure all the glass remnants were gone. Got rid of 68 things! My total is at 350 now!

Pulled out some too small clothes from dd closet.
Instituting a 1-in-1-out rule.
Unfortunately, dd had a bay party on Sunday and came home with a whole bag full of small crap. I set it all aside where she doesn't see it, and if she does not ask for anything, I am tossing the whole bag.

262 is my rough number. I know I've gotten rid if some that weren't counted. Bonus for me. It's all gone out if the house now.

Update: DH thought the donation bag was just a bunch of stuff to put away, so he very sweetly cleaned up and put it all back away in our home! Now I'm back down to 219.

Yesterday we eliminated 57 things. Which include pots and pans, cups, clothes, toys. Random stuff given to us by my inlaws.

So our total is now:
229/2013

More to go today. My husband also dropped the other stuff off at good will yesterday !
