Re: Aplix pocket suggestions?

I guess I'm the only one seeing the contradiction in the OP-If they're unsnapping the rise and stuff sticking with one size may not be the option you want. No matter if you're using snaps or aplix for the waist adjustment with OS, having the OS snap adjustments will still enable them to unsnap and resnap the rise snaps incorrectly.

Have you considered looking at sized diapers instead? If you're set on one size maybe something with an internal adjustment system like Fuzzibunz would be better?

Good point. How about Softbums?

Re: Aplix pocket suggestions?

I'd go with sized pockets. Ds's daycare kept unsnapping the rise on his Aplix BGOS until I gave up on snapping it. Fortunately he doesn't leak in the larger rise.

Yeah, I know - I was thinking that it would be much easier to just say "don't unsnap ANYTHING, just use the velcro". Also, with how squirmy DS is, the velcro would be easier for them to get a good fit on - DS is the only baby with cloth at this daycare.

We have some FB, but I'm not a huge fan. Part of the issue with the daycare is that they're not snapping the sides in close enough, especially on the FB, so he tends to leak around the leg holes. I'd also rather not have several sets of different sized diapers...we don't have a lot of space.

What if you mark the correct snap with a neatly placed dot of nail polish? Then when a new setting is needed, remove it with polish remover on a q-tip and remark.

This is what i did for my husband, if i left him alone with my dd, id end up with a pile of laundry because every diaper would leak,

Re: Aplix pocket suggestions?

Hey my DS is 8 months too, we have to just give him a surprise toy or turn on a flashy light when changing him, I am sure others have recommended them already but if you used softbums there would be no rise snaps for them to confuse, because the rise is controlled by the slidetosize toggle in the leg elastic that you access in the top of the diaper.. but is otherwise hidden so you would adjust them to the size he needs and then have them stuffed ready to go and then you dont have to re-adjust the size till he has grown again.. I have a bunch of pictures in my blog if you want to see..

RaR with Aplix? I know some people have suggested BG, but their Aplix sucks big time. Kawaii is good too, and cheap!
