Deepest ssc

My 13 month old is worn pretty frequently but is the up and down type so we are using ssc pretty much solely right now.
I need help finding an affordable ssc that she can sit deep in. she is 38 pounds and wears a 4t in pants (she is off the charts for height). All the carriers I have tried don't go knee to knee and I don't feel like her bum is lower than he knees. I have tried an oh snap, o&a, ergo, nb2 and a Gemini. I know that I Hoyle go to a preschool sized carrier but we are really in a bind financially. Are there any carriers that have a deep seat and wider base that are around$100?

Maybe a Boba? I know it is geared toward toddlers . my son is 27 lbs and 32 in and it still goes up high enough to sleep in.

Your best bets on a budget are probably the new Action Baby Toddler carrtier or the new Angelpack Max toddler carrier.
If you can find a toddler or preschooler sized Kinderpack or Bamberoo used cheap they would work great for you, but they're generally $150+ even used.

Hm... No real advise here. Any carrier with seat darts should give you a deep seat but if she really is that big you might want to try a preschool size. If you're patient and keep looking one might pop up on fsot. Good luck!

Re: Deepest ssc

In my experience, I've found the deepest SSC carriers to be bamberoos (most have extremely generous seat darts) and Kinderpacks (because of the three-piece body design). Both are great for big babies. Generally, anything with darts or a pieced seat will fit deeper than an SSC with a flat panel. HTH

I agree with the OP that mentioned darts...there are designated toddler carriers, but not all have seat darts and that sounds like what you're looking for. The ERGO has nice, deep seat darts, but the back is probably going to be too low for you. The Boba 3G also has seat darts too...not quite as deep as the ERGO's but the back compensates by being a bit taller than the ERGO's.
