I got them from a guy who bred them from one of his roo's to another friends girls. They are splash though, not the deep mahogany color like I would love to have. But alas they are quite beautiful.

I still dessperately want a blue splash, since mine is a retiree. Still trying to improve the toe feathering of the blue. The dude i was gonna keep had everything BUT that toe. Nice legs though. I have another with a nice middle toe, hope he lightens up. It's the one in those pics with the apron with wings, lol.

If you kept a flock of those and similarly tempered birds it's not a problem. Mine don't mess with the RIR's, or the sexlinks because they don't put up with it. They tormented my little sussexes and the easter eggers because they are so shy and meek. Since the gold wyandotte's been gone the silver is less of a brat because she doesn't have company. She's still going though, I'd rather have the EE's.

My Wyandottes are pretty meek, they get along with the EE's pretty well. I might just be lucky though.
