Ugh. I am 20w1d (need to update my ticker). She just needs to stay put.

I'm starting to lose my mind.

It's really nerve wracking. Luckily they slowed down this afternoon (I had like 5 by lunchtime) and I've had none since about 2 PM.

I just feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. And, of course, I feel that sense of doom encroaching and that feeling of "why would this time be different? This is just how it is for you" and all the negative thoughts crowd in and it's hard to not freak out :/

Marie- So glad they slowed down. I really hope and pray that the medication can get them under control. I'm so sorry :'( I will pray for you and your little lady.

Thinking of you, Marie! I hope the contrax slow down ASAP.

Had my first NST this morning after our weekly u/s. The little miss is still looking good and fluid levels are right in the middle of the range they need to be. Had 1 contrax and 1 decel during the NST but they weren't too concerned about that. Next week we'll have a growth u/s along with the doppler & NST to see how she's growing. Hoping we get to talk to the MFM doc as well to figure out what the plan is for the next few (last!) weeks.

Marie, can you get yourself onto bed rest? I know you have a busy little guy at home, but if there's any way you can get some help and slow yourself down, it certainly can't hurt Stay strong mama - it CAN be different this time and we're all rooting for you!

Re: Pregnancy After Loss (Jan 1-15)

Anyone want to hear a funny? I totally forgot to mention it in my whiny, sick update yesterday. I totally peed my pants overnight I woke myself up coughing so violently and I peed allllll over myself and soaked the bed. Sigh... being sick and pregnant are such a lousy combination. It was miserable at 3am the other night, but now it's funny. I did it again last night too, but at least I was smart enough to wear a pp pad to bed, so that's all that was injured in last night's coughing episode.

Laugh away... that's what I'm doing right now (but crossing my legs while I do!!)

I am basically on bed rest. If the progesterone isn't making my cervix stronger, we'll be looking at more strict rest after my appt tomorrow.
