Fit problem

I use mainly all FB mediums on my 11 mo dd. Shes 22 lbs and super long. We are having fit problems... She is all legs and a kind of short torso. Shes really skinny on the bottom half with a big belly and love handles (i swear) up top. So, the mediums should probably come up higher, but can't because they are above her little love handles and after 1 crawl they ooch down and are below her love handles. So, basically I'm having a hard time getting them to stay up high enough and we are getting gapping at te legs causing leaks. Any suggestions? Any diapers that would fit better or should I sit tight and wait for them to fit. We have 28 of them, so I'd like for them to work...

Maybe a OS dipe that you could shorten the rise way down?

Can you post a pic of your daughter in the diaper?

My dh hates OS diapers with rise snaps, although he has commented that he does really like Simplex OS but doesn't love the idea of an AIO. He absolutely hates Sunbabies. I've toyed with selling all my FB and getting Softbum Omnis but I'm not sure if I'd want a whole stash of them and have to deal with changing the sizing on all of them every month or so with the toggle.
My other concern with OS diapers is my dd's size. She's pretty skinny but 90%ile+ for height (and has been since birth) and I think she's outgrow a onesize in the rise long before she potty trains.

I will. We are on vacation with no washer/dryer access so my dd is in sposies for a couple day I will post pictures when we get back. I posted pics of her in her smalls about a month ago. The legs still fit great on the smalls but the rise was way too short. On the mediums, I have her on the third hip snap (so one from the tightest). She doesn't get a snug fit on her thigh. If I could snap it on the tightest waist snap then they would fit perfectly but then it cuts into the top of her thigh... Its so confusing...

Re: Fit problem

bg or fbos I guess for the gap by the legs. Few on here that are selling older ones. One I am going to buy few bigger and older ones has more from and there is aNOTHER THAT HAS before the patent onesize fb that are ok but not greatest fit yet for us..... I have pics of those but would have to email that set.

Re: Fit problem

I remember your post with the pictures!

For me, I just find that FB don't fit my kids well. They are too high of a rise. My kids have all had a belly that sticks way out, so we need diapers that are cut to fit under the belly, not up to the belly button.

Any sized pockets that you can think of with stay dry that sit lower? The smalls fit like a dream. It's these darn mediums that are making me nuts!

I have blueberry basix aios and dream-eze aios that i really like, they dont come up to my kids belly buttons, they sit fairly low on them, but admittedly, my kids tend to be tall and very thin, but are short waisted and all legs. I have my 25lb, 36.5in 27mo in mediums.

Though my first thought reading this was switching to FB OS, which have adjustable leg elasic (button hole elastic) and not rise snaps.
