If you have a Honda Odyssey or Pilot

What convertible seats do you like in it?

We've narrowed our choices down to these two vehicles to but this month.

It's not a convertible but I love the way our Nautilus fits in my Odyssey.

agree on the Nautilus. I love the way the Britax ra55 install in our Oddesey. I just got our new TFP today, so I will let you know how it installs.

Re: If you have a Honda Odyssey or Pilot

I drive an Ody and Dh drives a Pilot.
In my van I have a RF RA55, Britax Frontier and some Graco turboboosters.
In the Pilot we have a FF Sunshine Kids Radian65, RF MA70, and some Graco turboboosters.
I haven't had any problem installing any seats- Britax is probably the easiest install of any seats I've ever tried.

We love both both vehicles- they have their pros and cons.

We have a 2012 Odyssey, and I would be hard pressed to find a car seat that didn't fit in it, especially with the center seats extended. We have a Nautilus and a Marathon in there now, and will be putting a Keyfit 30 in there (probably with 2 Nautilii) for #3.

Re: If you have a Honda Odyssey or Pilot

We have a Pilot and at one point we had three seats in the second row: a Britax Boulevard forward facing in the middle a Britax Boulevard rear facing behind the driver's seat and an infant Britax Chaperone behind the passenger seat. It was tight but they puzzles together well. Now we have the Britax Boulevard forward facing in the third row (on the 40 part of the 60/40 split with the other part folded down for storage) a Britax Boulevard rear facing behind the passenger seat and a Britax Advocate GT rear facing behind the drivers seat in the second row with an empty seat in the middle. My only complaint is the third row (and the middle seat in the second row) does not have latch but I've read that the newer pilots (I think 2010 and later) do have them. I love the Boulevards and I like the Advocate but actually I think I like the Boulevards a bit better, not as many bells and whistles but its easier to adjust the fit of the straps while the child is in them.

tried the true fit and it was the easiest of them all to install - well except the booster

There is more cargo room in the Ody (including a well- not just flat like the Pilot) but IMO more comfortable seating for 8 in the Pilot. There is something like half the cargo room in the Pilot but since you only have 2 children- you could probably lay the back row down in either vehicle providing for plenty of cargo room. I like that the Ody doors slide- so less chance of the kids banging doors into neighboring vehicles in a parking lot. My husband is loving the 4WD on the Pilot with all the snow we've had recently. I also like the built in shades in the windows of the Ody.
I'm not sure if that helps- I guess you have to decide which features you prefer.
