Baby almost always comes in the shower with me. I have a mesh sling, but mostly I use the baby bathtub insert and put him on that while I wash. He doesn't mind when the water from the shower hits him.

Re: Babywearing in the shower?

This definitely works better if someone else can take the baby at the end of the shower so we're not both dripping wet. I contemplated getting a ring sling, but just decided to hold him in the meantime while he's still small and cuddly.
Anyone put baby in bath sling in shower, while they're showering..thought of that as an option to but it seemed like it could get chilly for ds.

I had never even thought about showering with a baby. I will look into mesh slings and other options!

This is exactly what I do! Usually, my baby goes in the shower with me because HE needs cleaning, so once he's done, he goes on a towel in the baby seat while I finish the shower.

I've used my mesh Taylor Made RS for taking 9mo DS2 in the shower and its been great! I only have to do it when he's sick or super cranky though. Basically when that's the only way I'd get a shower that day.

Re: Babywearing in the shower?

I've been thinking about a water sling... My family is planning a big beach vacation next summer and I thought it would be an awesome way to introduce DD to the ocean.
