Re: 35 weekers anyone??
Oh, and my dr told me they have stopped doing steroid shots after 34 weeks because research has been showing that it makes their brains soft. (that may be my fuzzy memory, but that's what I remember her saying).

Re: 35 weekers anyone??
My 2nd son was born at 36 weeks. He was 6.13 and had no issues. My 3rd son was born at 35 weeks. At 34 weeks I was in L&D overnight while they worked on stopping my labor. The day I hit 35 weeks my water broke. Baby boy was born weighing 6.2. They had a NICU doctor there thinking they would have to take him. But that dr just loooked at him and said he was fine. What a blessing! We spent 34 hours in the hospital and were sent home. He never had to go to the NICU. He never left my side once I got him. He did have jaundice for a while but never had to admitted for it.

Re: 35 weekers anyone??
I had 35 week 2day twins two days ago. Baby Macy was 5lb even and will be there about a week more if things keep progressing. Baby Trevor was 4lb 9oz and he will be there longer. They had nobshots to mature lungs before birth. But are steadily making progress. Good luck mama!

Re: 35 weekers anyone??
My first baby was born at 35 weeks 3 days, no steroid shots, and was 7 lbs even. He roomed in with me, and we went home together 3 days later.
My second was born at 34 weeks 1 day, but I had steroid shots.. she was 5 lb 9 oz and was taken to NICU for observation but released on day 3 because she was perfectly fine (hospital protocol mandated that she go to NICU because she was under 35 weeks).
