Probably a strange idea
Would a flip disposable insert work inside a pocket? We have an opened pack we will never use. They've sat in a closet for a year and a half. I was thinking maybe I could use them up by sticking them in pockets for overnight. Think it would work?

You could use the pocket like a cover for the insert. Id be worried it would be hard to get back out once dirty

Re: Probably a strange idea
You could just lay them in the pocket instead of stuffing. Using 2 has held up well for my kiddos!

Re: Probably a strange idea
I've done it before with no issues. I had them sitting in our closet from a mystery bag promotion.

Re: Probably a strange idea
They would totally work
we have used G'inserts in pockets and they come out pretty easy. Are you sure you'd never use them on a weekender or something? Thats what we use them for. I've had g's and flip inserts in closet and every now and then I pull them out for camping, weekenders or even a day trip. They came in handy...

Thanks for all the input! We definitely won't use them. I'm not a fan. We either do cloth or disposables on trips. We did the hybrid route once and didn't like it. These were given to us.

Would they not just shake out of the pocket? I use BG 4.0 at night stuffed with 2 flats in it and I shake the flats out in the morning.

Re: Probably a strange idea
I used to use 2 flip sposie inserts in a pocket for night time with my ds. He was a heavy wetter so we needed two, if your lo isn't a heavy wetter you can probably get away with just 1. Since it was a night diaper we didn't have to worry about dirty diapers, you can just shake the inserts out into the trash. Super easy!

Re: Probably a strange idea
We had gdiaper flushies we weren't interested in using so I kept them around for a while...when we started PLing (and still) we took a BBLB everywhere we went, and I cut those in half for when she had to potty on the go...they made for great cleanup!
