How are they running sizewise? I had some of the velours and they were teeny tiny and didn't fit either child. Also any problems with holding on to smells. It seemed to be a gripe with the testers.

I haven't officially tried them...baby isn't here yet. Just in comparing between the bamboo and the modal the bamboo is soooo much softer and squishier. It's too bad they are making both still. Would you say that it softens up after washing?

The inner Modal/Pima Cottom layers are actually softer and stay much softer than bamboo. You may be noticing the difference in the cotton print OUTER layer. Our old style bamboo fitted was made with prewashed print outers, these print outers are not prewashed. The cotton print outer layer does indeed soften after washing.

The new style also has 2 added layers in the soaker making it even more absorbent!!

We are on vacation but I'll post some when we get back. My dd is 11 mo, 30 in (at least) and 22 lb and is still on the smaller rise setting. They fit so nice and are so comfy looking.

I had some of the old ones and miss them daily. Wish I'd never gave them away like a gullible idiot. I want these new ones so bad!
